About this grant

The Urban Streams Restoration Program provides local assistance grants to fund projects and provide technical assistance to restore streams impacted by urban development to a more natural state. Program goals include protecting and restoring the natural and ecological value of streams, preventing property damage from flooding and bank erosion, and promoting community involvement and riverine stewardship.
